Abstract:

This 10.5 Kilowatt solar array consists of Sixty (60) Sharp 175 Watt Modules. With the aid of two SunnyBoy 5000 Watt inverters, the direct current from the array is converted to alternating current to be used by the building. Excess energy is sent back to through the grid via a Bi-Directional Electrical Meter. Every year, The system is expected to produce over 13,000 Kilowatt*hours, with an estimated savings of $2,600. Expected payback on this project is 5 years with a return on investment of over 20%
